About Our Nation...

Picture
The Kingdom of Swaziland is the smallest country in the southern hemisphere with a population of approximately 1 million.  The nation is landlocked inside the country of South Africa and borders Mozambique to the east.  Swaziland is very rich in traditional culture and is led by the last absolute monarch on the continent of Africa, His Majesty, King Mswati III.  Swaziland is struggling with the highest HIV rate in the world which has resulted in the largest percentage of orphans of any country in the world.  Unemployment stands at 40% while 70% live on less than $1 USD per day. Swaziland also has the highest Tuberculosis rates in the world and one of the lowest life expectancies of any country.
